This Hamer Studio Custom was a special order guitar. It is a Studio P-90 with Dimarzio Virtual P-90s. In the normal mode, they sound like really great P-90s, but, when you split them via the push/pull pot, they sound like strong single coils. This guitar produces some really great sounds.
This Hamer Studio Custom has a quilt top upgrade, and, as the photos shown, is a really pretty piece. The vintage burst with tortous shell binding is a great combination. It has a mahogany body with tone chambers and a mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard. It has a Wilkinson Tremolo – Now there’s something you don’t see every day on a Hamer! This is a great guitar.
